Depending on the material they are made of, some teddies, cuddly comforters (especially those with long hair, or fluffy) do not stand the heat from the iron. The fabric they are made of could melt with the heat. We recommend using sew on labels or fix the iron on label on the brand or care label.
Instructions for use
These labels are fixed with a hot iron.
Place the label on the desired position on the teddy to be labelled (to be used only on a fabric that can be ironed - beware of polyester/synthetic materials that do not stand the heat of an iron). Cover with the greaseproof paper supplied with the labels
Heat the iron on temperature linen/cotton 180°C, no steam
When the iron has reached the set temperature, apply a downward pressure for 4 secs for synthetic materials and 8 secs for cotton fabric.
Let the paper cool down
Remove the paper and check that the label is well fixed. It should show the fibres of the fabric and must not come off. If this is not the case, cover again with the grease proof paper and apply the iron for 2 seconds more (temp cotton/linen)
