School bag checklist to be ready for school

The school bag checklist to make back to school easy

Our checklist is designed to help your child, identify all the things he must take to school each day. Then, just tick the boxes once they are in their school bag.
Between the books, notebooks, canteen and bus passes, medication and all the other essentials, it’s easy to forget something! Download for free the school bag checklist below.
Psst! The list changes every week? Here’s our little tip: slide the checklist in a plastic sleeve and write with a whiteboard pen on top of the plastic. All there is left to do is to wipe it off clean to write the new requirements each week.

A few extra tips for a successful new school year

Prepare their school bag the day before: This will reduce stress in the morning and give you a last chance to check that everything is ready.

Involve your child: Encourage your child to take part in preparing their school bag. It’s a great way to teach them about organisation and responsibility.

Check regularly: Even after school starts, get into the habit of checking the contents of the school bag regularly to make sure everything is in order and still there.

Label supplies, clothes and everything else going to school: Use personalised name labels to clearly identify all their belongings. This might not ensure your children will come back with all their stuff everyday (who does never forget their jumper, book or pencil case at school??!) but it will definitely be easier for them to find them again the next day. Personalised name stickers are great for shoes and school supplies whilst clothing labels will do the job perfectly for school uniforms.
